We’d like to introduce ‘Submission Saturday’ as part of the Daily Athenaeum’s ‘Photo of the Day.’ Area artists and fans of the page alike are welcome to submit their entries by emailing a photo with details and a description to Matthew.Sunday@mail.wvu.edu. Submissions will be saved, and a photo will be chosen each Saturday to represent the ‘Photo of the Day.’
In this first entry, local photographer Steven Prunty captured a scrum in front of the Alderson-Broaddus goal when the school came in to play the WVU women’s soccer team in their final spring match. WVU went on to win 3-0. Prunty took the photo using Rokinon’s full-manual 8mm fisheye lens on the new Nikon D800.
