Mountaineer Jonathan Kimble led the West Virginia football team out of the tunnel for the first time Saturday afternoon when the Mountaineers took on Marshall. Kimble did a total of 375 pushups saturday in the game as a result of West Virginia beating Marshall by a score of 69-34.

A volleyball program record of 3,112 fans watched the Mountaineers take on No. 2 Texas in West Virginia’s first Big 12 Conference event yesterday in the Coliseum. Texas defeated WVU in straight sets, 25-15, 25-18 and 25-16.

‘Sprint, Splash and Spin’ took place Saturday in Marilla Park for Habitat for Humanity. Contestants ran, swam and biked to the finish line to raise money for the home-building charity.

A Stetson University soccer player scores an own goal off of a West Virginia corner kick while attempting to clear the ball Monday afternoon in Morgantown. The goal would be the only one scored in a match that WVU won 1-0, marking the team’s first 2-0 start since the 2005 season.
